Michael (1996) was a relatively gentle movie about an angel performing his last of 26 "good deeds" on earth by bringing a couple together. HOWEVER, the angel (John Travolta) was no angel at all. The angel was portrayed as having the power to resurrect, as being a vulgar bum, and as being subject to death. Angels are couriers of God's Word and Works and thus can be no less than perfect. They do not have the power to resurrect - only God has that power. And angels are neither born nor do they die let alone reappear after death that doesn't happen.
| Please remember we believe that if even one of the six Investigation Area scores for a movie is equivalent to the CAP comparative baseline databse scoring range for R, PG-13, or PG material, the entire movie should be regarded as so rated. For example, if only Wanton Violence/Crime earns a score equivalent to R but all other Investigation Areas earn a score equivalent to G, THERE IS R-RATED MATERIAL IN THE MOVIE AND YOUR KIDS WILL SEE IT AND HEAR IT IF THEY WATCH THE MOVIE! |
